Make a Donation
The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter does not receive any direct
government funding and relies upon the support of the Hawke’s
Bay community to operate the service.
The support received from the community allows the Trust to offer
a 24 hour 7 days a week rescue helicopter service, free of charge,
to everyone in the Hawke’s Bay.
Your support does make a difference!

(normally held in March each year).
- As a ‘Friend of the Trust’ you can purchase
a cap or polo shirt from our merchandise range Click

on your car.
- Suggest that your favourite community group or
business makes the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter the beneficiary
at its
next charity event.
- Invite a member of our crew to speak at
your upcoming meeting and share information about day-to-day
operations, recent missions
and latest developments.
- Organise for your employer to begin
a workplace-giving program – where
employees donate to the Rescue Helicopter each week from their
salaries.
- Consider our bequest program where members of the
community are asked to consider leaving a bequest in their
will to the
Trust.
Friends Benefits
Friends Benefits is a way we can acknowledge your support and contribution
to the Trust.
Friends Benefits means ‘if you are hospitalised out of the
Hawke’s Bay region, but within New Zealand, we will arrange
free transportation in one of our aircraft, from the hospital you
are recovering in, back to Hawke’s Bay to allow you to continue
your recovery near home and family. This service is available to “Friends” and
immediate family resident with “Friends” who are unable,
because of their condition, to travel via regular transport, and
the service is not forthcoming from ACC, Health Services or any other
source.
