Fundraise for Us

Our incredible fundraisers make a real difference

The Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust must raise $1.3 million each year to continue our life saving services. There are so many ways to support our work, and everyone who fundraises for us will receive a fundraising pack and full support from the Rescue Helicopter Team, as well as a certificate of achievement on completion of your activity. Here are some ideas  

Organise your own event

Organising your own event is a great way to get your friends, family and colleagues involved in the great work of the Rescue Helicopter! You could organize a sausage sizzle at your local supermarket, a dress down/up day at work, a cake sale at your church or community group, a mufti day at your school - the only limit is your imagination,

Take part in one of our events

Throughout the year the Rescue Helicopter Trust organises a series of events, from runs and challenges, to Cocktail Parties, to collection days and much more! Take a look at our events calendar for more information on how to get involved. 

Adopt a Collection Tin

Our collection tins are lonely and need a home. If you have space at your workplace or school, or know of a good spot for our collection tins to live let us know, and help us save lives in Hawke’s Bay.

Whatever you decide to do please tell us about it! 

If you are fundraising for us, please tell us what you have planned so that we can send you a fundraising pack and a Letter of Authority (this shows other people that you are fundraising for Rescue Helicopter and enables us to offer our support). Where possible we can also help you raise awareness about your event by helping with press releases and including your activity in our events calendar.
