Following that John was appointed Chief Executive of Farmlands and spear headed the growth of that business over eighteen years.
As Newland Directions, John is director for a range of companies and a mentor to business executives. The Hawkes Bay companies John represents are Marist Holdings (Mission Wines), Direct Imports, Stewart Financial Group, 3R Group and Grow Advertising & Design. John also chairs the Hawkes’ Bay Power Consumers Trust. |

Peter Dunkerley - Trustee
Born and educated in the UK Peter arrived in New Zealand in 1967 as part a world trip – and overstayed. It was far too enjoyable living in a kinder climate and a beautiful country. Now over 40 years later with an adult family and a growing number of grandchildren there is no looking back. Retired from a busy pharmacy life, the District Health Board, Rescue Helicopter and Community Foundation takes up his time. Gardening, classic cars and time to read make a balanced and fulfilling life and there is still time to travel with wife Jane.
