Patient with Pregnancy difficulties

22 months ago - Tuesday 31 May
• 1445 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa, with a Flight Nurse and our own Critical Care Flight Paramedic, to retrieve a female patient with pregnancy difficulties.

Medical Transfer from Central Hawke's Bay

22 months ago - Monday 30 May
• 1200 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Waipukurau to meet a St John Ambulance with a male patient suffering from seizures – the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Seach for a missing car in Central Hawke's Bay

22 months ago - Sunday 29 May
• 0941 hours Tasked by Police to conduct a search for a missing car near Waipukurau – the search was abandoned when Police located the missing vehicle.
• 1800 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau to a female patient with a medical condition.

Transfer to Wellington and a fall

22 months ago - Saturday 28 May
• 1053 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to uplift a 36 y/o male patient for urgent transfer to the burns unit at Hutt Hospital.
• 1747 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa with a flight nurse and our Critical Care Flight Paramedic to retrieve and elderly female patient who had injuries sustained in a fall.

Three trips to Wairoa

22 months ago - Friday 27 May
• 0800 hours Tasked by Air Desk to meet a St John ambulance at Wairoa Helipad for handover of an elderly male patient with a medical condition.
• 1056 hours At the request of DHB returned to Wairoa Hospital with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a female patient with a diabetic condition.
• 1558 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa with a Flight Nurse and our Critical Care Flight Paramedic to retrieve a teenage male patient with a medical condition.

Busy day for the crew

22 months ago - Wednesday 25 May
• 1010 hours At the request of DHB transported a female patient with pregnancy complications, accompanied by a Flight Nurse and Midwife, from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.
• 1430 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa to retrieve a teenage male patient with a finger amputation sustained whilst cutting wood.
• 2326 hours At the request of DHB attempted to fly to Wairoa, but adverse weather encountered near Waipataki forced the helicopter to turn back and return to base.

Helipad transfer

22 months ago - Tuesday 24 May
• 0911 hours Tasked by Air Desk to meet a St John road ambulance at Wairoa Helipad for handover of a female patient, aged in her 80’s, with stroke like symptoms.

Respiratory distress

23 months ago - Sunday 15 May
• 1000 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Waipukurau to meet a St John Ambulance at Waipukurau Aerodrome with a male patient with respiratory distress – the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Overturned logging truck

23 months ago - Friday 13 May
• 1300 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a logging truck rollover at Putere, the driver was trapped in the truck and required extraction by FENZ, before the driver with serious injuries was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Wairoa medical transfer

23 months ago - Thursday 12 May
• 0810 hours Requested by DHB to fly to Wairoa with a flight nurse and our Critical Care Flight Paramedic to retrieve a male patient with lacerations to his arms and legs.
