Northern Hawke's Bay

5 years ago - Saturday 18th May
• 0900 hours Tasked to Ruapunga in northern Hawke’s Bay to a female patient, suffering a suspected stroke – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
• 1900 Hours Flew to Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a teenage boy who suffered a spinal injury whilst playing rugby - he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Northern Hawke's Bay

5 years ago - Saturday 18th May
• 0900 hours Tasked to Ruapunga in northern Hawke’s Bay to a female patient, suffering a suspected stroke – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
• 1900 Hours Flew to Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a teenage boy who suffered a spinal injury whilst playing rugby - he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

5 years ago - Monday 13th May
• 1930 hours Tasked to Wairoa to meet St John Ambulance with a male patient aged in his 40’s, with stroke like symptoms – he was flown directly to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Wairoa Hospital Transfers

5 years ago - Sunday 12 May
0200 Transported a male patient, in his 20’s, with a stab wounds from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
1115 Transported a male patient in his 60’s, with a fractured femur from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
1315 Transported a male patient, in his 70’s, with a medical condition from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Plane Crash and Ruby Accident

5 years ago - Saturday 11 May
0915 Responded to a top-dressing plane crash at Tiniroto, inland from Gisborne - the male pilot had been extricated of the wreckage by his loader driver, he sustained head injuries and was transported to Gisborne Hospital for further treatment.
1430 Responded to a 19 year old male rugby player at Poraiti who had sustained spinal injuries and was flown directly to Middlemore Hospital for further treatment.

Cardiac Condition

5 years ago - Wednesday 8 May
1230 Transported a female patient with a cardiac condition from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

MVA

6 years ago - Saturday 27th April
1745 Tasked to an MVA at Tarawera, however adverse weather prevented the helicopter from completing the mission.

Spinal Injury Patient

6 years ago - Friday 26th April
1600 Tasked by Police to assist with a search for a missing person in southern Hawke’s Bay.
2215 Flew to Wairoa Hospital for a male patient with a spinal injury, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

0700 Flew to Wairoa Hospital for a male patient suffering from a stroke, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Accident in Wairoa

6 years ago - Monday 22nd April
0830 Flew to Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 20’s, with a neck injury sustained in an MVA (motor vehicle accident). He was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
