Tractor Rollover

19 months ago - Saturday 8th April
• 1233 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Patoka to a tractor rollover, where the person suffered facial, shoulder and knee injuries – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Fall from a ladder and Shark vs Man incident

19 months ago - Thursday 6th April
• 0834 hours tasked by Air Desk to Kairakau Beach to an incident where a 71 y/o male patient suffered an arterial bleed following a shark vs man incident – the fisherman was flown to Hawke’s Bay hospital.
• 1700 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Tangoio where an 85 y/o male fell from a ladder and suffered a pelvic injury – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay hospital.

Patient with pregnancy complications

19 months ago - Tuesday 4th April
• 1648 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa with a Flight Nurse and our Critical Care Paramedic to retrieve a female patient with pregnancy complications.

Bull vs Farmer incident

19 months ago - Monday 3rd April
• 1115 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Kotemaori, to a 30 y/o female with a broken arm following a bull vs farmer incident whilst herding cattle.

Stroke patient transfer to Wellington

19 months ago - Saturday 1st April
• 1200 hours At the request of the hospital transported a 40 y/o female patient suffering from a stroke to Wellington Hospital, the patient was accompanied by a Doctor and Flight Nurse.

Lacerations from an MVA

19 months ago - Friday 31st March
• 1700 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a Flight Nurse and our Critical Care Paramedic to retrieve a 19 y/o male patient with multiple lacerations sustained when a windscreen shattered in an MVA.

MVA in shallow water

19 months ago - Thursday 30th March
• 0956 hours Initially tasked by Air Desk to a report of a person in the water at Clive after an MVA, our crew prepared for a winch extraction, but were stood down en-route when it was confirmed that the MVA involved a car in a shallow drain and FENZ assisted with extracting the patient from the car.

Arm laceration and 1yr old with a medical condition

19 months ago - Monday 27th March
• 1242 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Tarawera to a 31 y/o male patient who sustained a deep laceration to his arm whilst building a fence – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay hospital for follow up treatment.
• 1812 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a 1 y/o child with a medical condition.

A patient with reoccurring seizures

19 months ago - Saturday 25th March
• 2300 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Flemington to a 53 y/o male patient suffering recurring seizures, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Cardiac condition, medical condition, a broken arm and a stroke

19 months ago - Thursday 23rd March
• 0400 hours Requested by Air Desk to meet a St John Ambulance at our helipad for handover of a 55 y/o female patient with a cardiac condition requiring immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital.
• 1657 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Tuai to a 69 y/o male with a medical condition – the patient was flown to Gisborne hospital.
• 1857 hours Whilst on the return from Gisborne requested by hospital to stop in Wairoa to pick up an 11 y/o male patient suffering a broken arm after falling from a climbing frame at school, he was flown to Hawke’s bay hospital.
• 2100 hours Tasked by Air Desk to meet a St John ambulance with a 67 y/o female patient suffering from a stroke, for a helipad handover at Wairoa hospital.
