Cardiac patient followed by an MVA

4 years ago - Tuesday 15th February
• 0615 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau to a female patient with a cardiac complaint – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital
• 2000 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Ruakawa to an MVA where a male patient suffered a serious head injury.

Two missions in northern Hawke's Bay

4 years ago - Monday 14th February
• 0945 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Nuhaka to a male patient, aged in his 50’s, with a medical condition – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital
• 1800 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Wairoa to a medical event, but stood down en route.

A busy day for our crew

4 years ago - Thursday 10th February
• 1100 hours At the request of DHB transferred a male patient, with a serious head injury to Wellington Hospital
• 1420 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porongahau to a male patient injured in an accident involving cattle in a yard – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1630 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa to retrieve a female patient with pneumonia.

Wairoa Hospital Transfer

4 years ago - Wednesday 9th February
• 1810 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa Hospital, with a DHB flight team, to retrieve a male patient with a cardiac complaint.

Wairoa and Ongaonga

4 years ago - Saturday 5th February
• 0900 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Onga Onga to a male patient with a back injury – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1059 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa, with a flight nurse and midwife, to a maternity patient - she was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Motorcycle accident and hospital transfer

4 years ago - Thursday 3rd February
• 1430 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Puketitiri to a motorcyclist versus car on a shingle road. The motorcyclist, aged in his 50’s, sustained a back injury so he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1700 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa to retrieve a female patient with a medical condition.

MVA at Nuhaka

4 years ago - Tuesday 1st February
• 1945 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Nuhaka to an MVA where a male patient sustained a head injury – he was flown to Hawke’s bay Hospital.

PLB activation at Kaimanawa State Forest

4 years ago - Monday 31st January
• 1115 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to a PLB activation in the Kaimanawa State Forest. Upon arrival it was found that an 11 y/o female in the tramping party had fallen and sustained a neck and back injury. She was extracted by winch and flown to Taupo Hospital for follow up.

Two cardiac patients hospital transfers

4 years ago - Sunday 30th January
• 0500 hours Requested by DHB to transport a male patient with a cardiac condition, accompanied by an ICU Doctor and Flight Nurse, to Wellington Hospital.
• 1100 hours Tasked by Air Desk to New Plymouth Hospital to transfer a patient requiring advanced cardiac care to Waikato Hospital

Blackhead Beach

4 years ago - Saturday 29th January
• 0856 hours Tasked by Police to respond to a report of an over-turned boat at Blackhead Beach. The helicopter was stood down en route when it was reported that all occupants of the boat were safely back on land.
