Alex Walker brings strong regional and national relationships across councils, Post‑Settlement Governance Entities, and economic and social agencies, developed over nine years as Mayor of Central Hawke’s Bay and related leadership roles.

Living and working rurally, Alex understands the importance of reliable rescue helicopter services. Her experience governing emergency management, risk and assurance functions, and supporting strategy and complex decision‑making enables her to make a meaningful contribution to the Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust’s work.
