Wairoa Hospital Transfer
6 years ago - Wednesday 24th April
0700 Flew to Wairoa Hospital for a male patient suffering from a stroke, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
Accident in Wairoa
6 years ago - Monday 22nd April
0830 Flew to Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 20’s, with a neck injury sustained in an MVA (motor vehicle accident). He was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
Kaweka Ranges Rescue
6 years ago - Sunday 21st April
1500 Tasked to the Kaweka Ranges to a male hunter with an ankle injury. The location of the hunter was such that he was not accessible, but the paramedic was able to provide pain medications to other members of the hunting party.
Wairoa Hospital Transfers

0900 To Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a male patient with a cardiac condition – he was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.
1355 Transported a 64 y.o. male patient with a cardiac condition from Hawke’s bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

1430 Transported a 54 year old female patient with a medical condition from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
Vehicle Accident

1620 Attended a truck rollover on the roadside near Wairoa, where the truck driver sustained lacerations, soft tissue injuries and suspected fractures – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

1900 Transported a male patient with a spinal condition from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital

2245 Transported a male patient who had a stroke from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Auckland Hospital.

0820 Responded to a rural address in Central Hawkes Bay to a female patient who accidentally overdosed, she was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.
