Three jobs for the Rescue Heli

6 years ago - Wednesday 12 September
1345 Flew to Wairoa Hospital for a male patient with cardiac issues, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

1655 Flew to Taihape to pick up 9mth old child boy who swallowed a plastic ball, he was flown to Palmerston North hospital. Whilst on the return we were tasked to a farm on Kahuranaki Road where a 19yo female had suffered leg and pelvic injuries from a horse riding accident. She was flown to Hawke’s Bay hospital for further treatment

Assistance needed in Central Hawke's Bay and Wairoa

1235 Initially flew to Waipukarau for an injured male patient, but the patient was transported to Hawke’s Bay hospital ambulance because the helicopter was required in Porangahau to pick up an elderly female patimet who had a sudden unexplained collapse, who was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for assessment and treatment

2010 Flew to Wairoa Hospital to pick up a female patient with stroke-like symptoms.

1245 Transported a female patient with neurological problems from Hawkes Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

1800 To Wairoa Hospital to transport 2 patients – firstly a male patient in his 70’s with a respiratory condition, and secondly a 2 y.o. child with a medical condition

14:25 Transported a male patient with a stroke and a female patient that had a stroke from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital

11:45 Transported a female with cardiac problems from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.
15:25 Transported a male patient with cardiac problems from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

A very busy day for the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter

6 years ago - Friday 31 August
A very busy day for the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter today:
• 12:45 p.m. – the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the Napier - Taihape Road to an incident where a 44 y.o. male motorcyclist had crashed and sustained head injuries – he was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
• 2: 25 p.m. the helicopter was then tasked to a farm address east of Pahiatau when a 19 y.o. male rolled his quad bike and sustained head and other injuries – he was transported to Palmerston North Hospital.
• 6:45 p.m. – the helicopter was responded to Dominie Hut in the Kaweka’s for a 65 y.o. male hunter who was suffering chest pain – he was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

11:00 Called to Porangahau to pick up a male patient who had suffered a broken foot. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment

6 years ago - Sunday 26th August
0530 – the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter was tasked to Central Hawkes Bay for a male patient, suffering from stab wounds, he was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Child with Medical Condition

6 years ago - Friday 24th August
1400 – the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter transported a male child with a medical condition, from Wairoa Hospital to Hawkes Bay Hospital.
