Cardiac Patient

6 years ago - Thursday 23rd August
1345 – the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter transported a male patient with a cardiac condition, from Wairoa Hospital to Hawkes Bay Hospital.

Rescue Missions for a Young Child and a Burns Victim

6 years ago - Wednesday 22nd August
1630 – the Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter was called to Central Hawkes Bay for an infant child with a respiratory condition, she was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for further treatment.

2100 – the Rescue Helicopter transported a 22 y.o. male patient, with extensive burns, from Hawkes Bay Hospital to Hutt Hospital.

A busy Sunday for the rescue heli!

6 years ago - Sunday 19th August
10:20 a.m. – the rescue helicopter transported a female patient with a medical condition from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

4:10 p.m. – The rescue helicopter was called to Mahia for a 69 y.o. female with a cardiac condition. She was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment.

10:10 p.m. – the same 69 y.o. female patient who was retrieved from Mahia earlier in the day was transported from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital for further specialist treatment.

Patient suffering heart attack

6 years ago - Friday 17th August
1:10 p.m. – The helicopter flew to Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a 55 y.o female patient post heart attack, she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Infant requiring specialist care

6 years ago - Friday 17th August
7:20 p.m. – The helicopter was called back to Wairoa Hospital for a 7 month old infant, requiring urgent transport to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Patient with septic shock

6 years ago - Thursday 16th August
7:30 p.m. The helicopter was called to Wairoa to a 60 y.o. male suffering with septic shock, he was treated at the scene by St John Paramedics before he was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Suspected cardiac patient

6 years ago - Monday 13th August
6:50 p.m. The helicopter was tasked to Waipukurau for a 54 y.o. male patient with a suspected heart attack. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Hospital Transfer

6 years ago - Saturday 11 August
1730 Transported a male patient with a fractured ankle from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Waipukurau

6 years ago - Friday 10 August
1005 The rescue helicopter was responded to Waipukarau for a 62 year old male with a medical condition. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Busy day for the Rescue Helicopter with Stabbing Patient and a Silage Bale Accident

6 years ago - Wednesday 8 August
0735 The rescue helicopter was responded to a meat processing plant at Takapau for a 33 year old male who was accidentally stabbed whilst cutting up meat. He was transported to Hawkes Bay Hospital for further treatment.
1600 The rescue helicopter was responded to a hay shed on a farm between Hastings and Napier, for a male in his late 50’s who was lifting hay bales with the forks of the tractor when a 600 kg hay bale toppled over the forks and landed on him - he sustained spinal and neck injuries. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment. The helicopter was tasked to this incident because the incident was a wet and muddy farmland which was inaccessible for a road ambulance.
