Te Araroa pick up with a police search at Lake Tutira on the journey back.

Flew to Te Araroa on the East Cape to pick up a 68 y.o. male who was suffering from a diabetic event. He was transported to Gisborne Hospital.
The rescue helicopter was tasked to Lake Tutira to assist with a police search for a missing camper.

Wairoa Transfer

Transferred a 68 y.o. male, who had a stroke, from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay hospital.

River Raft Accident

6 years ago - Sunday 25 February
Responded to Raupunga and met the ambulance. Transported a 16yo male who was suffering lower back injuries after falling out of a raft in the river.

Busy day for the Rescue Chopper!

6 years ago - Saturday 24 February
Tasked to Kotemaori for a 21 yo male who had fallen off moto bike. He was suffering head and chest and leg injuries.
Responded to Wairoa to a female patient in early stages of labour.
Transported a 21yo female from Matapiro who was in a single vehicle accident, she was suffering head and chest injuries. She was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.
Flew to Wairoa Hospital to pick up a 29yo male who had fallen out of a car and suffered head injuries. He was flown back to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Transported a male patient with respiratory problems from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Taihape

1300 The rescue helicopter was responded to Taihape for a 65 year old female with cardiac problems. She was transported to Whanganui Hospital for further treatment.

0930 Transported a 66 y.o. male patient with neurological problems from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital

Hospital transfer and a 3y.o bitten by a dog.

0800 Transported a 66 y.o. female with severe asthma from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
1230 Transferred a 29 y.o. female patient, with pregnancy and delivery complications, to Wellington Hospital.
1500 Transported a 3y.o. boy, who had been bitten by a dog, from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Fall from a horse

6 years ago - Tuesday 13 February
1200 The rescue helicopter was tasked to a farm at Takapau, west of Waipukarau for a female patient who sustained chest injuries from falling from a horse. She was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.
1500 Transported a teenage female patient, who accidentally swallowed a metal object, from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
