Nuhaka Mission

7 years ago - Sunday September 24th - 1200 The rescue helicopter was called to Nuhaka in Northern Hawke's Bay for a female patient aged in her 80’s, with stroke-like symptoms. The lady was flown to Hawke's Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Single Vehicle Road Accident near Putorino

7 years ago - Thursday 21st September - 1700 The Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter was called to a single vehicle road accident on a country road near Putorino, where a car with 3 occupants rolled. All occupants self extricated from the car, 2 of the occupants were uninjured whilst a pregnant female sustained moderate injuries. Wairoa’s St John’s road ambulance was on scene to provide initial treatment of the passenger, but the Rescue Helicopter was called to transport the patient to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment

Transfer to Hawke's Bay Hospital

7 years ago - Thursday 21st September 1300 The helicopter was called to Wairoa Hospital to transport a female patient, in her 70’s with a severe chest pain. She was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Transfer to specialists in Wellington

7 years ago - Wednesday 20th September - 2000 The helicopter transported a 62 year old female with a cardiac condition from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Lake Tutira Rescue Mission.

7 years ago - Monday Sept 18th - 18.15 The Rescue Helicopter was responded to a farm near Lake Tutira to a 68 year old male who had fallen from a ladder, and sustained neck and spinal injuries. With the aid of night vision goggles, he has then flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Patient with Seizure Symptoms in Rural Tarawera

7 years ago - Sunday 17 September - 0730 The rescue helicopter was responded to a rural Tarawera farm station to airlift a 41-year-old man who had collapsed and was experiencing seizure type symptoms. He was stabilised at the scene by St John Intensive Care Paramedics prior to being transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Wairoa Transfer

7 years ago - Thursday 14 September - 1325 Transported a male patient with cardiac issues from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Two missions to Porongahau

7 years ago - Monday 4th September -

0100 The rescue helicopter was responded to Porangahau for a car that collided with a bank and a 67 year old male sustained fractured ribs and head/ leg lacerations. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

1045 The rescue helicopter was responded to Porangahau for a male patient, in his 60’s, with chest pain. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Cardiac patient taken to Wellington Hospital

0930 Transported a male patient with cardiac complications from Hawke’s Bay to Wellington Hospital.

1100 Transported a female patient from Wellington to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Accident on State Highway 5

7 years ago - Monday 28 August - 0615 - The rescue helicopter was responded to State Highway 5, at Mauganamu, 10km west of Tarawera towards Taupo for a car accident between two vehicles. A 72 year old male was trapped and was cut free from the car by the fire service and the patient serious head injuries. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.
