Quad Bike accident at Kereru

7 years ago - The Rescue Helicopter was called to a rural Kereru address to airlift a teenage male patient who had sustained injuries after been run over by a quad bike. St John Intensive Care Paramedics attended him to at the scene, prior to being flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Transfer from Wairoa Hospital

7 years ago - The rescue helicopter was called to Wairoa Hospital to airlift a 14 year old boy who had sustained a head injury during a rugby game. He was flown to Gisborne Hospital for ongoing treatment

Suspected heart attack transfer from Wairoa

7 years ago - The rescue helicopter responded to a suspected heart attack at Mahia. The male patient was transported to the Hawke's Bay Hospital for further treatment

Hospital Transfer from Wairoa

7 years ago - Friday 28 April (1225) Transported a male patient with Cardiac complications from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital

Quad Bike Rollover in Porangahau

7 years ago - Wednesday 26 April (1200) The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm near Porangahau for a male in his 60’s who had an accident with a quad bike while driving down a steep hill. He sustained hip and pelvis injuries and was transported to Hawkes’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Search & Rescue or missing Hunter

7 years ago - Tuesday 25 April (1000) The rescue helicopter was responded, along with the Land SAR team, by Police to search for male in his 60’s who was overdue from a hunting trip at Kuripapango in the Kaweka Forest. He was located in a river bed after becoming lost with a slight leg injury, also wet and cold from a night out in the open. He was transported back to the Police Search and Rescue Headquarters.

7 years ago - Tuesday 25 April (1445) Transported a male patient with a stroke from Wairoa Hospital to Hawkes’s Bay Hospital

Rescue of a Tramper at Mangateinoke Hot Springs

7 years ago - Monday 24 April (07:00) The rescue helicopter was responded to the Mangateinoke Hot Springs at the Mohaka River for a tramper in his 30’s who had sustained a knee injury. He was hover loaded into the helicopter on a nearby bend in the river and transported to Hawkes’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

7 years ago - Sun 23 April (18:35) Transported a male patient with cardiac complications from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.
