Hospital Transfer from Wairoa

7 years ago - 11:45 - Transported a female patient experiencing medical complications from Wairoa to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Accident at Herbertville

7 years ago - 13:45 - The rescue helicopter was responded to Herbertville for a female in her 70’s who had been injured following a fall. She was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Search and Rescue of Missing Tramper

7 years ago - 05:30 - The rescue helicopter responded to the Ruahine National Park to help locate and assist a male tramper in his 50’s who hypothermic and disorientated. He was found using a beacon search and night vision goggles (NVGs), then transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for assessment and treatment.

Medical Emergency at Marekakaho

7 years ago - 13:20 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a woolshed at Marekakaho for a male shearer in his 60’s who had collapsed. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Accident at Te Mata Peak

7 years ago - 18:30 - The rescue helicopter was responded to Te Mata Peak, where a male in his 60’s had fallen approximately 15 metres from a mountain bike track and sustained multiple injuries. A paramedic reached the patient on foot, and was then winched into the helicopter along with the patient (on a stretcher), and transported back to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Rescue from the Tangoio Beach

7 years ago - 13:30 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a beach at Tangoio where a male in his 50’s fell approximately 10 meters off a cliff and sustained suspected back and neck injuries. He was located lying on a steep hillside, and holding onto a flax bush so that he didn't slip any further. A paramedic was winched down to load him onto a stretcher and then both were winched into the helicopter and transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Medical Emergency in Waipawa

7 years ago - 16:00 - The rescue helicopter was responded to Waipawa where a male in his 60’s had a cardiac arrest. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

7 years ago - 00:45 - Transported a female patient experiencing pregnancy complications from Wairoa to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Motorcycle Accident at Kotemaori

7 years ago - 10:45 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a motorbike accident at Kotemaori where a male in his 20’s had sustained chest injuries. He was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.

Accident at Cape Kidnappers

7 years ago - 12:45 - The rescue helicopter was responded to a farm at Cape Kidnappers where a female in her 70’s had sustained a shoulder injury following a slip from a walking track. She was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further treatment.
