Cardiac Patient

7 years ago - Sunday 26th May
• 1000 hours Uplifted from a St John Ambulance Napier, a male patient, aged in his 50’s, suffering a cardiac condition requiring immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital for advanced coronary treatment.

Patient in Wairoa with Cardiac Condition

7 years ago - Saturday 25th May
• 1700 hours Flew to Wairoa Hospital with a Doctor and Nurse to retrieve a female patient, aged in her 50’s, with a cardiac condition - she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Emergency missions to Tolaga Bay and Wairoa

7 years ago - Thursday 23rd May
• 1100 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to Tolaga Bay to a report of a capsized boat and several occupants in the water. The helicopter was stood down en route when it was confirmed the occupants of the boat no longer needed helicopter assistance.
• 2300 hours Flew to Wairoa Hospital with a Doctor and Nurse to retrieve a teenage boy who had fallen and sustained a head injury - he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Wellington Hospital Transfer

7 years ago - Tuesday 21st May
• 1200 hours Transported a 22 year old male with a medical condition from Hawke’s Bay Hospital to Wellington Hospital.

Missing Hunters in Kaweka Forest

7 years ago - Monday 20th May
• 0900 hours Tasked by Police to conduct a search for missing hunters in the Kaweka Forest near Poronui Station. After several hours of searching with the 3 missing hunters were successfully found and rescued.

Northern Hawke's Bay

7 years ago - Saturday 18th May
• 0900 hours Tasked to Ruapunga in northern Hawke’s Bay to a female patient, suffering a suspected stroke – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
• 1900 Hours Flew to Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a teenage boy who suffered a spinal injury whilst playing rugby - he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Northern Hawke's Bay

7 years ago - Saturday 18th May
• 0900 hours Tasked to Ruapunga in northern Hawke’s Bay to a female patient, suffering a suspected stroke – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
• 1900 Hours Flew to Wairoa Hospital to retrieve a teenage boy who suffered a spinal injury whilst playing rugby - he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Wairoa Hospital

7 years ago - Monday 13th May
• 1930 hours Tasked to Wairoa to meet St John Ambulance with a male patient aged in his 40’s, with stroke like symptoms – he was flown directly to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Wairoa Hospital Transfers

7 years ago - Sunday 12 May
0200 Transported a male patient, in his 20’s, with a stab wounds from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
1115 Transported a male patient in his 60’s, with a fractured femur from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
1315 Transported a male patient, in his 70’s, with a medical condition from Wairoa Hospital to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Plane Crash and Ruby Accident

7 years ago - Saturday 11 May
0915 Responded to a top-dressing plane crash at Tiniroto, inland from Gisborne - the male pilot had been extricated of the wreckage by his loader driver, he sustained head injuries and was transported to Gisborne Hospital for further treatment.
1430 Responded to a 19 year old male rugby player at Poraiti who had sustained spinal injuries and was flown directly to Middlemore Hospital for further treatment.
