Wellington transfer, ATV injuries and a Wairoa transfer

2 months ago - Thursday 16 May
• 1226 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a female patient in her 70’s from Hastings Hospital to Wellington Hospital for a medical related condition. An ED Doctor and NBU representative accompanied the mission. On the return flight a female patient in her 60’s was transferred to Hastings Hospital. A DHB Flight Nurse and ED Doctor accompanied the return flight.
• 1647 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 70’s from Kereru to Hastings Hospital for injuries sustained whilst driving an ATV.
• 2218 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male child from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital for a medical related condition. A DHB Flight Nurse and ED Doctor accompanied the flight.

Transfer to Wairoa and return patient

• 1205 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male patient in his 70’s from Hastings Hospital to Wairoa Hospital for a medical related condition. On the return flight a female patient in her 50’s was transferred to Hastings Hospital. A DHB Flight Nurse accompanied the mission.

Leg injury due to a fall

• 1540 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 60’s from Te Araoa to Hastings Hospital for a leg injury resulting from a fall.

Three mission day

3 months ago - Sunday 12 May
• 1413 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a female patient in her 60’s from Shereden to Hastings Hospital for injuries sustained from a horse-riding accident.
• 1719 hours At the request of the Rescue Coordination Centre undertook a search at Hautapa.
• 1929 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a female teenager from Tarawera to Hastings Hospital for injuries sustained from a quad bike accident.

PLB Activation

3 months ago - Saturday 11 May
• 1159 hours At the request of the Rescue Coordination Centre commenced a search over Cape Kidnappers for what was later confirmed as a false PLB activation.

Early morning transfer from Wairoa

3 months ago - Thursday 9 May
• 0308 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male patient in his 60’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital for a medical related condition. A DHB Flight Nurse accompanied the mission.

Wellington Hospital transfer

3 months ago - Wednesday 8 May
• 1444 hours At the request of the DHB transported a female patient in her 30’s from Hastings Hospital to Wellington Hospital for a medical related condition. A DHB Flight Nurse and Emergency Doctor accompanied the mission.

Injured while hiking

3 months ago - Tuesday 7 May
• 1425 hours At the request of the Rescue Coordination Centre conducted a search and transported a male patient in his 70’s from Kaweka Forrest to Hastings Hospital for injuries sustained from hiking.

Two Wairoa transfers

3 months ago - Monday 6 May
• 1536 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a female patient in her 70’s from Hastings Hospital to Wairoa Hospital for a medical related condition. On the return journey a male patient in his 40’s was transferred from Wairoa to Hastings hospital.
• 1701 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male patient in his 70’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital for a medical related condition.

Motor vehicle accidetn transfer to Wellington

• 1314 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a female patient from Waipawa to Wellington Hospital for injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.
