Transfer to Wellington Hospital

18 months ago - Wednesday 1st November
• 1400 hours At the request of the hospital transported a male patient, aged in his 60’s suffering from a stroke, accompanied by a Flight Nurse and our Critical Care Paramedic, to Wellington Hospital.

Patients transfered to Gisborne and Hawke's Bay Hospitals

18 months ago - Sunday 29th October
• 1038 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Gisborne, to a female patient, aged in her 70’s, who suffered a spinal injury sustained in a fall at home – the patient was flown to Gisborne hospital.
• 1500 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Te Awanga to a female patient with complex medical needs – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up.

Patient transfer from Wairoa

18 months ago - Friday 27th October
• 2008 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a Flight Nurse and our Critical Care Paramedic to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 60’s with abdominal pain.

Patients suffering with seizures

18 months ago - Tuesday 24th October
• 1250 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa, with a Doctor and 2x Flight Nurses to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 60’s, suffering with seizures – the patient was flown to Napier Airport for handover to a fixed wing Air Ambulance for further transport to Wellington hospital.

Motorbike accident, rugby league accident and 2 transfers from Wairoa

18 months ago - Saturday 21st October
• 0425 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 60’s, with a medical condition.
• 0926 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Wairoa to a female patient, aged in her 60’s, suffering from a stroke – the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1508 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Ruapanga to a teenage male with a dislocated knee, suffered whilst playing rugby league.
• 1922 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a report of a motorbike accident near Nuhaka, but the helicopter was stood down en route.

MVA near Taihape

19 months ago - Friday 20th October
• 1547 hours Tasked by Air Desk to respond to an accident at Taihape, where a motorcyclist was hit by a car, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay hospital.

Infant with respiratory problems

19 months ago - Thursday 19th October
• 1730 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and 2x Flight Nurses to retrieve an infant with a respiratory problem.

MVA in Wairoa

19 months ago - Wednesday 18th October
• 1630 hours Tasked by Air Desk to respond to a MVA at Wairoa where a female patient, aged in her 60’s, suffered spinal and other injuries in the accident – the patient was flown to Hawke’s bay Hospital.

Medical transfer from Wairoa

19 months ago - Sunday 15th October
• 2004 hours At the request of the hospital, flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a male patient, aged in his 60’s, with a medical condition.

Teen with head injury and an infant with scold burns

19 months ago - Saturday 14th October
• 0253 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Patoka to a teenage male patient with a head injury suffered whilst partying.
• 2007 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Waipukurau to an infant child with scold burns from hot water.
