Cardiac condition and beacon activation

3 years ago - Friday 16th December
• 1336 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a 47 y/o male with a cardiac condition – the patient and the medical team were flown to Napier Airport for onward transport to Wellington hospital.
• 1745 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to a beacon activation at Lake Waikaremoana, where a 32 y/o male tramper was found with a leg laceration requiring hospital treatment – the tramper was flown to Hawkes Bay hospital.

Fall from a ladder

3 years ago - Thursday 15th December
• 1336 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Pōrangahau to a 64 y/o female who has fallen from a ladder and sustained head injuries, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay hospital for assessment and treatment.

Fall from a bridge

3 years ago - Wednesday 14th December
• 1144 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Waipawa to a report of a 32 y/o male working on a bridge when he fell over the railing a falling 6 metres, the patient with moderate injuries was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up assessment and treatment.

MVA near Taihape

3 years ago - Tuesday 13th December
• 1246 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a report of an MVA near Taihape, when other emergency services arrived on the scene it was conformed the patient was deceased so the helicopter was stood down and returned to base.

Two hospital transfers from Wairoa

3 years ago - Monday 12th December
• 1414 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a Flight Nurse to retrieve a 70 y/o female with a medical condition.
• 1730 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a 24 y/o male patient with a medical condition.

Wairoa hospital cardiac transfer

3 years ago - Sunday 11th December
• 2200 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a doctor and flight nurse to retrieve a female patient, with a cardiac condition.

Fall from a truck whilst loading bee-hives

3 years ago - Saturday 10th December
• 1030 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Patoka, where a 45 y/o male fell from a truck whilst loading bee-hives, and he sustained a fractured and dislocated ankle.

Wairoa maternity hospital transfer

3 years ago - Friday 9th December
• 1135 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a midwife and flight nurse to retrieve a female patient.

Slip & fall and Wairoa hospital transfer

3 years ago - Wednesday 7th December
• 0827 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Kereru where a 77 y/o male slipped and fell on a wet surface and sustained suspected rib injuries - the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for assessment and treatment.
• 1000 hours At the request of hospital flew to Wairoa with a doctor and flight nurse to retrieve a female patient, aged in her 20’s, with a medical condition.

Farm bike accident and Wairoa hospital transfer

3 years ago - Monday 5th December
• 0940 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Putorino to a farm bike accident where a female child sustained a neck injury – the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for assessment and treatment.
• 1500 hours At the request of the hospital flew to Wairoa with two members of the hospital flight team to retrieve a female patient with a medical condition.
