Farm Bike Accident Ashley Clinton & Wairoa

4 years ago - • 1530 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Ashley Clinton in Central Hawke’s Bay to a teenage male who had an accident on a farm bike – the patient with moderate injuries was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 2125 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Wairoa to a male motorcyclist, aged in his 60’s who had fallen from his motorbike suffering suspected multiple fractures - he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment.

MVA at Tuai

4 years ago - • 0620 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Tuai to an MVA where a male patient aged in his 30’s suffered moderate injuries – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Swimming Pool Accident Porangahau

4 years ago - • 1500 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau where a young child had an accident in a swimming pool, the child was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for assessment and treatment.

Rural Accident at Tangoio

4 years ago - • 1715 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a rural address at Tangoio to an accident on a farm, the male patient aged in his 60’s, was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital with minor injuries.

Hatuma MVA & Transfer to Wellington Hospital

4 years ago - • 0800 hours Tasked by Air Desk to an MVA at Hatuma (Waipukurau), a female occupant of the vehicle sustained moderate injuries and she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1325 hours Tasked by Air Desk to meet a St John Road Ambulance at the helipad with a female patient with a diagnosed cardiac condition requiring immediate transport to Wellington Hospital.

Wellington Hospital

4 years ago - • 1430 hours At the request of HBDHB flew a female patient aged in her 60’s with a cardiac condition, to Wellington Hospital. The patient was accompanied by an ICU Doctor and flight nurse.

Two Trips to Wairoa

4 years ago - • 0001 hours Requested by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa with an ICU Doctor and Flight nurse to a female patient with a pregnancy complication, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 0300 hours Requested by HBDHB to return to Wairoa with a Doctor and Nurse to retrieve a teenage patient with a medical condition, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Kaimanawa Forest PLB Activation & Porangahau

4 years ago - • 0915 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to Kaimanawa Forest to a PLB activation. Upon arrival it was found that a member of a tramping club had injured her ankle on the previous day and was unable to continue. The tramper was flown to Taupo Hospital.
• 1130 hours Whilst on the return to Base the helicopter was tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau to a female patient with a medical condition – she was flown to Hawke’s bay Hospital.

Kairakau Beach, & Stroke Patient Wairoa

4 years ago - • 1145 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Kairakau Beach to a female patient who fractured her ankle whilst walking along the beach – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1830 hours Flew to Wairoa to retrieve a male patient suffering from a stroke – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Taupo MVA, PLB Activation & a Head Injury Kereru

4 years ago - • 0915 hours Tasked by Air Desk, along with the Greenlea Rescue Helicopter from Taupo, to an MVA on SH-5 at Tarawera with a report of multiple occupants – on arrival all patients were found to have minor, or no injuries.
• 1225 hours Tasked by Rescue Coordination Centre to a PLB activation at Kereru, upon arrival, a female horse rider was found to have fallen and suffered a pelvic injury – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1400 hours Tasked by Air Desk to the same location at Kereru where another female horse rider had fallen, incurring a head injury – she was also flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
