Mahia to Hawkes Bay Hospital

4 years ago - 1800 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Mahia to a male patient, aged in his 70’s, with a respiratory condition – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Haumoana

4 years ago - 1630 hours At the request of Rescue Coordination Centre and Police flew to the coast line off Haumoana for a report of a person in the water. The person was located and the helicopter remained in close proximity until the person was picked up by boat.

Beacon Activation & Wairoa Hospital

4 years ago - 1200 hours Flew to Wairoa Hospital with a HBDHB ICU Doctor and Flight Nurse to retrieve a female patient, aged in her 30’s, with a medical condition.
1500 hours At the request of Rescue Coordination Centre flew over the vicinity of Hawkes Bay A&P Society’s Showgrounds to investigate a beacon activation. No signs were found of the mysterious beacon.

Motorcycle Accident Lake Tutira

4 years ago - 0955 hours Responded by the Air Desk to a location near Lake Tutira to a motorbike accident, where a 60 y/o motorcyclist sustained chest injuries, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment..

Cardiac Patient to Wellington

4 years ago - 0430 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wellington with a 40 y/o male patient with a cardiac condition, accompanied by an ICU Doctor and Flight Nurse.

A busy day for the Crew

4 years ago - • 0845 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau to a male patient with a medical condition, he was flown to Hawke’s bay Hospital.
• 1545 hours At the request of Air Desk flew to Aramoana to a male patient with injuries as a result of an altercation with a bull, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1950 hours At the request of HBDHB flew to Wairoa, with a ICU doctor and Flight Nurse, to retrieve a male child with injuries sustained in an MVA, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 2300 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Wairoa to meet a St John Road Ambulance with a male patient, aged in his 50’s with a cardiac condition, requiring immediate transfer to Wellington. Because of adverse weather arrangements were made to meet the Life Flight Fixed wing air ambulance at Napier Airport for a tarmac handover of the patient to go to Wellington.

Wairoa

4 years ago - • 0320 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa to retrieve a female patient with a medical condition.

MVA in Wairoa, Putere & Transfer of New Born Baby and Mother

4 years ago - • 0350 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa, with a flight nurse to retrieve a female patient with injuries sustained in an MVA.
• 1220 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Putere, sadly the patient was found to be dead on arrival.
• 1740 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa with a midwife to a new born baby. The baby and new mum were flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Burns Patient & Porangahau

4 years ago - • 0300 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Wairoa to a female patient, aged in her 50’s, with burns as a result of a chemical spill, she was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.
• 1915 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau to a male patient with injuries as a result of a fall, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.

Wellington Transfer & Wairoa Stroke Patient

4 years ago - • 1645 hours Tasked by Air Desk to await a road ambulance to deliver a male patient to the helicopter centre, for immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital. The patient had a cardiac condition.
• 2100 hours Whilst on the return from Wellington paged by Air Desk to fly to Wairoa to a female patient suffering a stroke, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
