A busy day for the Crew

5 years ago - • 0845 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau to a male patient with a medical condition, he was flown to Hawke’s bay Hospital.
• 1545 hours At the request of Air Desk flew to Aramoana to a male patient with injuries as a result of an altercation with a bull, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 1950 hours At the request of HBDHB flew to Wairoa, with a ICU doctor and Flight Nurse, to retrieve a male child with injuries sustained in an MVA, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
• 2300 hours Tasked by Air Desk to fly to Wairoa to meet a St John Road Ambulance with a male patient, aged in his 50’s with a cardiac condition, requiring immediate transfer to Wellington. Because of adverse weather arrangements were made to meet the Life Flight Fixed wing air ambulance at Napier Airport for a tarmac handover of the patient to go to Wellington.

5 years ago - • 0320 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa to retrieve a female patient with a medical condition.

MVA in Wairoa, Putere & Transfer of New Born Baby and Mother

5 years ago - • 0350 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa, with a flight nurse to retrieve a female patient with injuries sustained in an MVA.
• 1220 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Putere, sadly the patient was found to be dead on arrival.
• 1740 hours Tasked by HBDHB to fly to Wairoa with a midwife to a new born baby. The baby and new mum were flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

Burns Patient & Porangahau

5 years ago - • 0300 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Wairoa to a female patient, aged in her 50’s, with burns as a result of a chemical spill, she was flown to Hawkes Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.
• 1915 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Porangahau to a male patient with injuries as a result of a fall, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.

Wellington Transfer & Wairoa Stroke Patient

5 years ago - • 1645 hours Tasked by Air Desk to await a road ambulance to deliver a male patient to the helicopter centre, for immediate transfer to Wellington Hospital. The patient had a cardiac condition.
• 2100 hours Whilst on the return from Wellington paged by Air Desk to fly to Wairoa to a female patient suffering a stroke, the patient was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

5 years ago - • 1850 hours At the request of HBDHB flew a 55 y/o male patient with a cardiac condition, accompanied by ICU Doctor and Nurse, to Napier Airport for handover to a Fixed Wing Air Ambulance for transfer to Wellington.

Putorino MVA & Waiouru Motor Cycle Accident

5 years ago - Tasked by Air Desk to Putorino to an MVA, where a 29 y/o female sustained moderate injuries, she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for follow up treatment.
• 1330 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Waiouru to a motor cycle accident, where a 30 y/o male motorcyclist sustained moderate injuries – he was flown to Palmerston North Hospital.

Wairoa

5 years ago - • 1545 hours At the request of HBDHB flew to Wairoa, with a Doctor and flight Nurse, to retrieve an elderly female patient with a medical condition.

Stroke Patient Taihape

5 years ago - • 1050 hours Tasked by the Air Desk to Taihape to a male patient, aged in his 40’s, suffering from a stroke – the patient was transported to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Search for Missing Diver

5 years ago - • 1500 hours At the request of Police conducted a search on Tokomaru Bay for a diver who was last seen entering to water to go fishing. After an extensive search of the coast line and sea the mission was aborted after the person was thought to be missing returned to his home.
