Desert Rd/Tongariro/Tutira Transfers

7 months ago - • 0711 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 20’s from the Desert Road to Taupo Hospital for a trauma related injury.
• 1101 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a female patient in her 20’s from Tongariro Crossing to Taupo Hospital suffering sickness whilst out hiking.
• 1506 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 60’s from Tutira to Hastings Hospital suffering a medical related event.

Whirinaki MVA

Stingray Attack at Pongaroa

7 months ago - • 1820 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 30’s from Pongaroa to Palmerston North Hospital for a leg injury sustained from a stingray attack.
• 2345 hours At the request of the DHB, transferred a male patient in his 70’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital for a medical related incident. A DHB Flight Nurse accompanied the mission.
