Wairoa Head Injury Patients

4 months ago - 1926 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 30’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital with head injuries following a motor vehicle accident.

2316 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male patient in his 70’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital with head lacerations. A DHB Flight Nurse accompanied the mission.

Cardiac and Seizure patients

4 months ago - 1538 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male teenager from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital suffering seizures after a fall. A DHB Flight Nurse accompanied the mission.

1831 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 70’s from Waipawa roadside to Hastings Hospital who had a cardiac arrest while walking.

A busy Thursday for the crew!

4 months ago - 1207 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a female patient in her 70’s with a cardiac condition and a male patient in his 40’s suffering a bleed from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital. Two DHB Flight Nurses accompanied the mission.

1510 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 60’s from Whakatane Hospital to Tauranga Hospital who had suffered a cardiac arrest while walking.

2108 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male patient in his 70’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital suffering seizures. A DHB Flight Nurse and ICU Registrar accompanied the mission.

Transfers

4 months ago - 1021 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a female patient in her 70’s from Hastings Hospital to Wellington Hospital with a cardiac condition. On the return flight a male patient in his 70’s with a heart condition was transferred to Hastings Hospital. A DHB Flight Nurse accompanied the mission.

Cycling Injury

4 months ago - 1034 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 70’s from Hastings Hospital to Wellington Hospital who suffered a head injury while cycling.

Hiking Patient

4 months ago - 1355 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male patient in his 60’s from Woodville to Palmerston North Hospital who suffered a medical event while hiking.

Double Wairoa Transfers

4 months ago - 1245 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male patient in his 70’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital with pneumonia. A DHB Flight Nurse accompanied the mission.

1955 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a male patient in his 70’s from Wairoa Hospital to Hastings Hospital suffering dehydration. Two ICU Registrars accompanied the mission.

Tutira Patient

4 months ago - 1250 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a female child from Tutira to Hastings Hospital to treat injuries following a fall from a tree.

MVA and Cardiac Transfer

4 months ago - 0151 hours Tasked by Air Desk to transport a male teenager from Moawhango to Whanganui Hospital with injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

2002 hours At the request of the DHB transferred a female patient in her 30’s from Hastings Hospital to Welington Hospital with a cardiac condition. A DHB Flight Nurse and ICU Registrar accompanied the mission.
