A busy Sunday for the crew

4 years ago - Sunday 28th November
• 1115 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a location west of Kereru to a motor-cross event where a 52 y/o male rider had fallen and sustained injuries to his ribs – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
• 1330 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a location west of Kereru to a motor-cross event where a 24 y/o male rider had fallen and suffered a fractured femur – he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for treatment.
• 1900 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Mahia to a report of a person with a dislocated hip as a result of a fall – adverse weather was encountered around Tangoio forcing the crew to abandon and return to base.

Potential Sea Rescue at Marine Parade

4 years ago - Saturday 27th November
• 0745 hours Tasked by Air Desk to a report of a person in the water off Marine Parade in Napier. The Coast Guard was responded and recovered the person before the arrival of the helicopter.

Hospital Transfer

4 years ago - Friday 26th November
• 2230 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa, with a doctor and flight nurse, to retrieve a female patient with a medical issue.

4 years ago - Thursday 25th November
• 1230 hours At the request of DHB flew to Wairoa, with a doctor and flight nurse, to retrieve a child with a medical issue.
• 1530 hours At the request of DHB transported a male patient, accompanied by doctor and flight nurse, to Wellington for advanced cardiac care.

Dislocated Hip in Mahia

4 years ago - Sunday 21st November
• 1845 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Mahia to a female patient with a dislocated hip resulting from a fall at home – she was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital.

A busy Saturday for the crew

4 years ago - Saturday 20th November
• 1158 hours Tasked by Police to the Kaweka ranges for an overdue hunter (without a PLB) , with a request from Police to check visitor books in the various huts - after almost 2 hours there was no sign of the missing person.
• 2047 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Poukawa to a female patient with a broken leg. The patient and her partner were in an inaccessible location requiring extraction by helicopter.
• 2220 hours Tasked by Police to return to the Kaweka Ranges to the missing person who had been located by Police – the hunter did not require medical assistance so he was returned to his car.

Wairoa Hospital Transfer

4 years ago - Friday 19th November
• 1713 hours At the request of HBDHB, flew to Wairoa with a flight nurse, to retrieve a patient with a cardiac compliant.

Patient with respiratory problem.

4 years ago - Thursday 18th November
• 0930 hours At the request of HBDHB, flew to Wairoa with a doctor and flight nurse, to retrieve a female patient with a respiratory problem.

Forestry Worker

4 years ago - Wednesday 17th November
• 1150 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Frasertown to a forestry work site, where a 45 y/o forestry worker was complaining of chest pain, he was flown to Hawke’s Bay Hospital for further assessment and treatment.

Cardiac Arrest in Herbertville

4 years ago - Monday 15th November
• 1215 hours Tasked by Air Desk to Herbertville. When the helicopter arrived on scene it was found that the person was deceased despite the CPR performed by his work colleagues.
