Equipment Appeal

A new rescue helicopter is coming to Hawke’s Bay in the coming months, and it will 

save lives.

For our crew, it represents hope, enhanced capability, and the ability to reach people in

their most desperate moments.

For our community, it means that when the unthinkable happens - a serious accident, a

medical emergency, a life hanging in the balance - help can arrive in the critical time of

need.

One day, that life hanging in the balance could be you. It could be someone you love.

But while the helicopter itself is on its way, it cannot do its life-saving work alone.

To make this incredible aircraft fully mission-ready, we need specialist equipment

designed specifically for the new helicopter, initial alterations made to the base and

gear for the crew who will fly in it every day.
